walker jewelry mart

i must say that i had a fantastic time this saturday at the first ever, walker jewelry mart. the space is great with a totally breath-taking view of the city, and on a sunny spring day like the one we had, there was an abundance of natural light. i can't thank the walker staff enough for taking such good care of us and setting a very professional tone for the day. the turn-out was really good - with people who came to buy - which felt great and made it totally worthwhile! (note: i must admit that no family members or friends came this time (except edith-nicole who was a wonderful surprise) which marks a mile-stone for me - a good milestone. i couldn't do anything without the support of the people closest to me, but it is also important to move beyond the need to have them at every event. i suppose it is like taking the training wheels off my bike ... "hey mom, i'm riding!!!") i also met some great people whose work is so inspiring to me. all in all, a very FUN day!
